REGION VII WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD STRATEGIC PLAN FOR PUBLIC COMMENT The PY 2026-2028 Strategic Plan for the Region VII Workforce Development Board (WDB) is available for public comment beginning August 1, 2026, through August 15, 2026.

It can be viewed on the Region VII WDB website at www.wvregion7.org  under the Policies tab.

 

A copy of the plan may also be requested by calling the Region VII WDB office at (304) 530-5258. Public comments on the plan can be mailed to: T.J. Federal Funding Language

 

P.L. 115-31, Division H, Title V, Section 505 states the following, “when issuing statements, press releases, requests for proposals, bid solicitations and other documents describing projects or programs funded in whole or in part with Federal money, all grantees receiving Federal funds included in this Act, including but not limited to State and local governments and recipients of Federal research grants, shall clearly state- (1) the percentage of the total costs of the program or project which will be financed with Federal money; (2) the dollar amount of Federal funds for the project or program; and (3) percentage and dollar amount of the total costs of the project or program that will be financed by non-governmental sources.”

 

  1. 100% of the total costs of the program or project will be financed with Federal money
  2. The maximum amount of Federal funds allocated will be used for the project or program
  3. 0% and $0.00 of the total costs of the project or program will be financed by non-governmental sources.
  4. Projects and programs provided by Region VII WDB are 100% funded with federal WIOA funding by the U.S. Department of Labor and the United States Department of Agriculture through grant awards totaling $1,600,389.00.
